From Servitude to Freedom: Emmanuel Crawford

Feb 22, 2022 | 0 comments

In 2008, Touch A Life partnered with Ghanaian abolitionists to rescue several children from Lake Volta. Among them was four-year-old Emmanuel Crawford, who was rescued from the fishing industry.

Emmanuel was adopted by an amazing family in Oklahoma, and he has grown into an incredible young man. Not only is Emmanuel a football superstar at his local high school, but he is also an Agent of Change who is speaking out against slavery in Ghana. We were blown away by his recent feature on KJRH Channel 2 News, which included a segment on Touch A Life, and we wanted to share it with you! We were so inspired, and we know you will be, too!

Emmanuel’s powerful testimony is a reminder of why we do what we do. Thank you so much for walking alongside us — you are truly changing lives and transforming communities!
